Director of Equinox Sales and Lettings it’s our local knowledge, experience, and client commitment which makes us different from the rest. With over 19 years in the industry both in sales and lettings, my objective is to offer first-class support every time. Clients receive a tailored service which meets their needs, and all property management is handled in branch with local trusted contractors.
Starting in property as a negotiator I’ve worked for several well-known property organisations in sales and lettings. I’m known for my ability to not only win clients, but to also retain them through delivering what I’ve promised, taking time to understand their requirements, and continually checking in to ensure they are happy with the service being provided and that their needs are met.

Starting in the Real Estate industry doing viewings part time in 2012 I became hooked and worked my way to a fulltime position as a property manager before becoming Sales & Lettings Negotiator at Equinox. It’s a varied job and no 2 days are the same which gets me out of bed buzzing with excitement every morning. I felt honoured to be asked to join the team having worked with the directors previously and love the friendly atmosphere and can-do approach which defines the company.
Each day I’m learning and even items such as tenancy agreements – which most people think would be the same – require close attention to detail to ensure landlords and tenants both feel satisfied and protected with the outcome. At Equinox we don’t put the first person we find forward for a property, instead we match the person to the property, which means they’re happy and stay longer and the landlord is also happy.
If I had to pick my biggest work challenge to date it would be finding tenants who would match well to fill an 11-bedroom house. Running all the viewings, I met the tenants, and ensured they would gel. It’s worked and has helped a group of professionals from all across the UK find a home with others who are all in the same situation – they’ve even built a herb garden together. That’s what I call a success!

Being part of a local company, which offers a bespoke service and really cares about the long-term relationships with its customers is something which I will never take for granted. I’ve been involved in Sales and Lettings for more than 15 years in Exeter where I was born and raised, so it’s safe to say I know this area and sector like the back of my hand. When setting up Equinox Sales and Lettings it was my vision for a truly bespoke and local experience where our clients know that we have the community knowledge they require, and that we will adapt our offering and approach to meet their requirements.
Applying for a role in real estate in 2007 partly because of my passion for property makeover shows I’ve loved every day since. No two days are the same, and every day you are coming across something that you have never dealt with before, whether with a property, or landlord, or tenant.
My ethos is simple

My proudest moment is launching Equinox in 2021 with a goal to offer landlords the best advice and seek the most suitable tenant for their property; I also aim to provide tenants the best support and advice throughout their tenancy, thus providing a complete all-round service. Over 15 years I’ve seen the industry build compliance into its standards which provides better protection for tenants as well as the embracing of technology, this is an ever evolving and changing business and I’m proud to be part of a company who is willing to adapt, change, and flex as required.
